From your first point of contact with
GEOS Languages PLUS
right through to your gradua-
tion from college or university you can count on our support. We are glad to guide you th-
rough your personal journey and delighted to share in your success.
Firstly, we will keep you informed of your progress as you advance with your lan-
guage level. We will keep you on schedule with your personal pathway process
and guide you through the application. We are there to help you choose the right
college or university program, or to offer you support should you have already
made your decision. We provide you with all the information you need as you
progress towards achieving your goals.
Secondly, while taking a language preparation course at
GEOS Languages PLUS
you will have regular sessions with a mentor – usually the academic director or a
teacher who will monitor the progress of your language skills and advise you on
your strong points, as well as areas that need improvement. Your mentor’s duty
will be to ensure that you are ready and have the required abilities for an academic
program when you need them, and if necessary help you to change your pro-
gram. Additionally, our administrative staff are always ready to answer any ques-
tions regarding accommodation, city attractions and local services. We can also
recommend visa and permit professionals.
And lastly, we know what it feels like to be away from home. Most of our staff
members have traveled, lived, taught or are originally from other countries. We
are fully aware of the difficulties international students face when they make this
huge step towards building their future by moving to a foreign country for an
extended period of time. By taking such a brave step, every single student already
has our respect, and can expect to receive our emotional support as they overco-
me personal challenges!
