GEOS Languages PLUS understands just how important accommodations are to a young student's study abroad experience. Hence, our language school in New York for juniors offers young students a variety of accommodation options to ensure that they will have the most memorable and enjoyable stay possible.
Furthermore, GEOS Languages PLUS understands that our students want to live in a clean, safe and comfortable environment while they study abroad. Therefore, our language school in New York has an accommodation coordinator who is responsible for ensuring that our young students are placed in the best available accommodations, and making sure that our students are completely comfortable, safe and happy with their new living environment. Typically, young students will only share the junior accommodations with their fellow international classmates in New York.

Homestays in New York
The GEOS Homestays in New York are intended to give our international students an up-close experience of New York's culture by taking part in the everyday life of the host family. In addition to using the practical English language skills learned in the language school, students should also participate in family activities in order to get an authentic look into life in New York City.
While living in one of our homestays in New York, students will be living in a 2 bedded room, which will consist of a desk, storage space, and a personal bed. Students will be served breakfast and dinner at the homestay in New York and a packed lunch will be prepared for them to be eaten with their classmates at the language school. The language school can be reached by public transport from the homestays in New York in approx. 60 minutes or less.
Students will be placed in a homestay that most matches their personality and/or needs. In order to do so, a GEOS staff member personally visits each of our homestays in New York with our students’ interests in mind. Families also undergo a police background check. The main objective of GEOS is to provide a secure, educational and vibrant environment where students can focus on learning Enlgish. All homestays in New York are in safe, comfortable neighborhoods within the city limits or the surrounding suburbs.

Residence Accommodations in New York
Sharing a 2 bedded room in our school residence with other international students is a great way for students to learn about different cultures, practice their newly-acquired language skills, and improve their communication abilities. The GEOS Languages PLUS language school in New York offers double bedded rooms in the basic-equipped and basic-furnished school residence.
Students will be served breakfast and dinner at their accommodation and a packed lunch will be prepared for them to be eaten with their classmates at the language school. The language school can be reached by public transport from the residence in just 25 minutes.
