Academic excursions, Pronunciation Workshop and Hip Hop Dance class in GEOS Ottawa

Academic excursions:

As part of the GEOS curriculum, our Active Listening classes have an Academic excursion once per session. This week some of our classes went on a visit to the Bytown Museum, while others went on an architecture walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city.

New English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Textbook

SC GEOS Ottawa just finished a successful pilot of a new English for Academic Purposes (EAP) textbook for our advanced level elective class. This textbook is now available for all GEOS schools to use when running the advanced EAP elective. Because of the success of that pilot, GEOS Ottawa will start another pilot of a new EAP textbook for the intermediate level elective class as well.

Academics and Accreditations

We are pleased to announce that our SC GEOS Languages Plus school branches in the U.S. and Canada have just undergone a successful reaccreditation cycle with ACCET and maintenance review by Languages Canada. 

Our Academic Team has welcomed two new members: Adam Moore in Boston and Stephanie Alvarado in NYC, who will be the Lead Teachers at their respective schools.
