Welcome Monica Benhumea - Our Student Counselor at Vancouver School

Monica Benhumea have been in the educational industry for over 10 years.  She has been part of the SWIS program at Vancouver School Board helping students from abroad to get connected with the language in a very smooth and meaningful way. She has taken part of outreach programs at Cedar Neighborhood House and also been a leader for teenager’s summer programs.

She has been providing services at Inland Refugee Society in their ESL program. Monica was a professor in University of the State of Mexico for 14 years and now she is a Teacher Assistant at Geos Language Plus, as well as a Student Counselor.
