A January Group from Brazil, Ski day, New York City Trip and New EAP Class in SC GEOS Ottawa

For the past 11 years we have been welcoming a January group from the south of Brazil. They leave the Brazilian summer to come to Ottawa for a Winter activity program. This year we have a group of 32 students and 3 adult chaperones. This week they have various activities, including a skiing and snowboarding day at Camp Fortune Ski resort in Gatineau Park. The group will be with us until February 6th.

We had great New Year celebrations here in the capital, with not one but two fireworks displays. A group of GEOS Ottawa students also went to New York City for New Year with ISX Student Tours. They had an excellent time in the Big Apple. Ottawa’s central location makes it possible to do weekend trips to lots of cool cities in the Eastern side of North America.

We have opened a new EAP class for advanced level students in the morning and also an advanced Academic reading class in the afternoons. The school has a real buzz at the moment. We hope you can join us soon to experience it!
