After Class Activities in Los Angeles
After the language courses are finished for the day, students of the GEOS Languages PLUS language school in Los Angeles are encouraged to practice their newly acquired language skills while participating in cultural & social activities and excursions.
The GEOS Los Angeles staff members organize daily after-class activities (and occasionally weekend activities) for our young international students studying abroad in Los Angeles - South Bay. Of course, these after class activities will vary by season. A few examples after class activities include trips to Disneyland and Universal Studios, games, movies, sports, parties, and much more!
Students may also be taken on a small trip through downtown Los Angeles. Depending on the local events calander, students may be encouraged to buy tickets to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Opera or the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
Los Angeles, Torrance, and the entire LA County region offer fantastic cultural events and social activities throughout the year. This is, without a doubt, one of the biggest advantages of participating in a study abroad program in Los Angeles, California! Participating in the after class activities in Los Angeles is a great way for you to make new friends and to have fun practicing and speaking the English language!
