On Wednesday, we had one of our free workshops. We like to offer these classes as a thank you to our students. They are always popular.
Brazil group
Our annual Brazil group will have their last week with us next week. They are going to a hockey game on Sunday (it’s Canada after all), then next week they have a tour of Algonquin College (our major pathway partner), a skiing / snowboarding trip on Wednesday, a visit to the beautiful ice-sculptures at Winterlude, and a goodbye / graduation party on Friday. They fly home on Sunday, February 11th, but spend the day in Toronto and Niagara Falls. Quite a busy week all in all.
This is the 13th year the organizer has been sending the group so it’s a real annual tradition. Brothers and sisters of previous group students often come, and the same chaperones return because they enjoy it so much. Thanks so much guys. It’s been a blast.
Winterlude, Ottawa’s annual winter festival. There’s lots of events happening for the next 3 weekends (from Feb 2 - 19). There’s an opening concert tonight at 7:00 PM at Confederation Park.
