LANGUAGE PROGRAMS AT GEOS...
Intensive English (USA) & Comprehensive English Programs (Canada)
A new session begins every four weeks at all GEOS schools. You can enroll for just one session or several sessions. We encourage you to begin at the beginning of a session (Week 1), but other start dates are available. Our Intensive English classes offer:
- 22 ~ 24 educational hours of instruction per week
- Several levels of proficiency
- Small classes, with 14 or less students
- A comprehensive curriculum: listening, speaking, reading,
writing, grammar
- Vocabulary, idioms, pronunciation and North American culture
- Creative learning activities
iBT TOEFL Preparation
This course is designed for high-intermediate and advanced students preparing
for entrance into North American colleges or universities. Our iBT TOEFL classes offer
- preparation for thereading, writing, listening, and speaking sections of the iBT TOEFL exam
- TOEFL test-taking strategies
- academic discussions and oral and written presentations
Junior Group Holiday
Courses
These courses are offered year-round and are designed to last
1-4 weeks, depending on the group. We can custom design a course for your group. Our Junior Group courses offer
- classes
in the morning and cultural activities in the afternoon
- 12-15 hours of instruction
per week
- fun and professional classes that teach English, culture and customs
- 1-2 optional excursions per week
- homestay experience/residence accommodations
- a welcome party and farewell party with students and homestay families
Business/Executive
Courses
Many of our locations offer part-time Business English courses for working professionals. Our Business English course in is designed to help international business professionals prepare to use English in both present and future work situations. You will develop English communication skills with a focus on business contexts and environments and learn vocabulary that is used regularly in the business world.
TOEIC Preparation
Many of our locations offer TOEIC preparation. This course focuses on both improving English skills and test taking strategies. In some locations, you can take the official TOEIC exam at the school.
High School Preparation
Some of our locations offerhigh school preparation courses to assist international studetn prepare to enter public or private high schools in the USA and Canada.
