Adult Language Courses and Programs
Learn English or French at your own pace by selecting the adult language course that best suits your needs. Choose from super-intensive, intensive, part time or private English / French adult language courses. Test Preparation Programs, Internship Programs, University Pathway Programs, TESL and TEC Certificate Programs, Study Tours, and other adult language courses are also available. Do you need to take the TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS tests?
Our USA schools and some of our Canadian schools have a full time TOEFL Preparation Course that will help you with the new iBT TOEFL exam, which includes a speaking section. This adult language course teaches you the skills and strategies needed for getting the score you need, in addition to, improving advanced English skills. Essay writing, critical listening, reading comprehension, and structure are all part of our adult language course. Our schools also offer TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS electives, which you can take to learn the strategies and skills needed to successfully pass these tests.
Do you want to improve your English or French?
Our Super-Intensive, Intensive, Semi-Intensive, and Part-Time English and French Adult Language Courses can help you improve your speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing.
Do you want to do an internship?
Our schools in Canada offer the GEOS Internship Program. You can choose between paid and unpaid internships; and achieve your goals while taking adult language courses and working in Canada. We offer visa support, job skills workshops, and will help prepare you in your job search. We also offer job and visa support to Working Holiday Visa holders.
Do you dream of attending a college or university in a post-secondary institute?
GEOS works with over 50 different post-secondary institutions through our University Pathways Program. Our schools will prepare you with the necessary academic skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking during adult language courses. We will help you with your application and you have the opportunity of getting a conditional letter of acceptance upon successful completion of an adult language course. Some of our partner institutions will also accept you directly from our schools without a TOEFL iBT score!
Do you wish to teach English in your own country?
Our schools in Canada offer TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and TEC (Teaching English to children) Adult Language Courses to students who would like to improve their English skills, learn teaching skills and tactics, and gain hands-on teaching experience. During our adult language courses, we will provide the lessons, training, and reference letters necessary to help you land the job of your dreams!
Do you wish to travel and learn English at the same time?
All GEOS locations offer adult language courses in Study Tours / Camps year-round. These tours are designed to last 1-8 weeks, depending on the group. With these adult language courses, you'll enjoy English/French courses in the morning and cultural activities in the afternoon. You can join groups individually or, should you wish to send a group of students, you can also have a custom designed program.
