Super-Intensive French Course in Montreal (40 lessons/week)
GEOS Languages PLUS offers a Super-Intensive French Course in Montreal for those students wishing to study French even more seriously. During the morning and the afternoon the students will join the Intensive French Course and after that they will join an elective course available at that time, such as DELF, "communication française" or others.
Note: 1 lesson = 45 minutes
Integrated Skills Class
During this class, students study four French skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening - through a “Communicative Language Teaching” methodology. New grammar patterns are learned in the context of a conversation or a real-life situation. Students also use various activities to practice French conversation including listening tasks, role plays, and discussions. Practical reading and writing tasks and vocabulary studies are presented as well in our 6 available French levels.
Active Listening Class
During this class, students will cover a variety of topics while practicing French conversation management, conversational styles, and pronunciation. Students learn commonly-used idioms and slang in a communicative way. Teachers also use various activities to practice these new idioms including listening tasks, role play, and discussion.
Elective Class
Students of the Super-Intensive French Course in Montreal can choose an elective course that most interests them and/or most benefits their French goals. We offer a variety of courses including Test Preparation, Academic Writing, Business French, Pronunciation, and others.
Super-Intensive French Course in Montreal Features:
A GEOS French course features a comprehensive curriculum with a focus on oral communication - speaking and listening. Well trained and highly qualified instructors help students improve their conversation skills through a variety of creative activities. There are six different levels of study, from beginner through proficient. A placement test helps us find the best class level for each student. At the end of each four-week session, each student will receive a written evaluation and have a one-on-one with one of their teachers. This is how we help you monitor your progress. After each three month semester, students receive a report card, and students receive a GEOS certificate when they finish their Super-Intensive French Course in Montreal.
