After Class Activities in New York
After the language courses are finished for the day, students of the GEOS Languages PLUS language school in New York are encouraged to practice their newly acquired language skills while participating in cultural & social activities and excursions.
GEOS New York organizes daily after-class activities (and occasionally organizes weekend activities as well) for our international students studying abroad in New York. Of course, these after class activities will vary by season. A few examples of these after class activities include trips to the beach, sporting events, games, movies, sports, parties, and more!
New York is the leader in the American industries of music, newspapers, book publishing, advertising, finance, and television. NYC also offers numerous festivals, concerts and live events all throughout the year. The latest and newest theater acts and plays premier quite often on the famous Broadway street. These entertaining cultural events offer great chances for you to make new friends and to have fun learning, practicing and speaking the English language!
