While living at one of our New York Homestays, students will be in either a private or 2 bedded room consisting of a desk, storage space, and a personal bed. Students will be able to choose either half-board homestays (with 2 meals Monday-Friday & 3 meals on the weekends) or full-board homestays in New York (with all meals provided).

Students will be placed in a homestay in New York that best fits their needs and personality. In order to do this, GEOS New York sends its staff members to visits each homestay family with the interests of our students in mind. All host family members will also undergo a police background check. Our aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational and vibrant living environment. The homestays in New York are always located in safe, comfortable neighborhoods within the city limits or neighboring suburbs.

Many GEOS students return to their home country with lasting memories of the families they met and lived with during their time abroad in New York. You'll make friendships that'll last for a lifetime!
