After Class Activities in Calgary
After the language courses are finished for the day, students of the GEOS Languages PLUS language school in Calgary are encouraged to practice their newly acquired language skills while participating in cultural & social activities and excursions.
Calgary is located approximately 80 km east of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. With approximately 1.1 million inhabitants, Calgary is one of the largest cities in Canada. The “oil boom” of the early 1900s, significantly increased the city’s importance to the outside world, which lead to many internationals creating a home in Calgary.
GEOS Calgary organizes daily after-class activities (and occasionally organizes weekend activities as well) for our international students studying abroad in Calgary. These exciting activities offer great chances for you to make new friends and to have fun learning, practicing and speaking the English language! Of course, these after class activities may vary by season.
