Warm greetings from GEOS North America!

With spring just around the corner, we are looking forward to the energy that this season brings. Spring is a time of new things and in this theme we would like to inform you of two big changes happening in GEOS New York and GEOS Honolulu in March.

GEOS Honolulu with a New Manager

It is our pleasure to announce that Mr. Benjamin Smith is the new School Manager of GEOS Honolulu!

Born in Pennsylvania, Ben was able to travel and teach in Thailand for a few years before returning to his home in the States. With working experience in both GEOS New York and GEOS Honolulu, Ben has shown dedication and diligence to his work, and thus has been promoted to the position of School Manager.

GEOS North America welcomes Ben to our team of managers and hopes that he will be able to develop a longlasting working relationship with you in the years to come!

GEOS New York at a New Address

Starting in March, GEOS New York will merge both campuses into one main location. The Midtown Campus in the Empire State Building will be officially closed on February 27, 2010 and all students will begin to have classes in the Chelsea campus at:

This move has been the result of many months of careful planning and everyone in GEOS New York is very excited about it. Having everyone under one roof means an even closer and vibrant student community; and more immediate access to all GEOS New York staff members.

Hello! My name is Aranut Utchumpisai (Kae), I'm from Thailand, I lived in Bangkok which is a big city or business city. I want to study English for my job and applying to Master degree in Canada, and I also know that English is the most important language in the world. Before I came here I work in a law firm company (Paralegal assistant) and everyday I had to communicate with foreigners but my English was really terrible because I could not understand even easy sentences, so I need to improve my English skills. This is the reason why am I here, I have been in Calgary, Canada for a year. I had been studied English programs at GEOS Academy Language (Calgary) almost one year. I was really enjoyed studying English and I also had opportunities to met people from many different countries. The most important is I can make really good friends, get a lot of experiences from them and I learn new things everyday. Really! After 3 months My English is really improve because I can listen and speak with native speaker and my pronunciation is really change and better than before. Nowadays I'm not afraid to have a conversation with native speaker. That is a good reasons why am I study English at Geos Calgary.
Calgary is really great city, especially the weather and there are many places for traveling. For example, Banff, Jasper and you can enjoy with natural. Canadian people are very friendly and helpful.
Now! If you are looking for school to improve your English skills, Geos can help you. You will be able to improve very fast, find good friends, great teacher and really good activities to join. Let come to GEOS Calgary for a good opportunities!!
